Mistakes that ruin traffic after 70 years
- Sitting or lying in bed for extended periods.
Physical inactivity reduces blood flow, especially in the legs. This can lead to swelling, varicose veins, and, in more severe cases, deep vein thrombosis. - Lack of fluid intake.
Many older people are less thirsty, but that doesn’t mean they need less water. Dehydration causes the blood to thicken, making circulation difficult and increasing the risk of blood clots. - Wearing clothes that are too tight.
Pants, stockings, or belts that are too tight can compress the veins, especially in the legs and abdominal area, thus reducing blood flow. - High blood pressure
- is quiet but destructive. If left unchecked, it can damage blood vessels and severely impact the circulatory system.

antioxidants A diet low in fruits, vegetables, and healthy fats can promote inflammation and arteriosclerosis. - Do not move your feet or legs while sitting.
Even when sitting, it is important to make small circular movements with your feet or stretch your legs to activate blood circulation.
