🧼 Method with hydrogen peroxide (oxygenated water)
🧴 What you need:
- Hydrogen peroxide (volume 10 to 30%, available in pharmacies or DIY stores)
- Plastic film (cellophane type)
- Protective gloves
- Toothbrush or brush
- Sun (or UV lamp for an accelerated effect)
🧽 Steps:
- Preliminary cleaning
Cleans the yellowed surface well with soapy water to remove dust and grease. - Application of peroxide
Apply a generous layer of hydrogen peroxide with a brush or toothbrush. - Packaging
Covers the treated area with plastic wrap to prevent the product from evaporating.
- Exposure to the sun ☀️
Place the device in the sun for 4 to 6 hours (or under a UV lamp). - Final cleaning
Remove the plastic, wipe with a damp cloth and admire the result.
💡 Bonus tip:
For small areas you can also use whitening toothpaste or baking soda mixed with a little hydrogen peroxide in paste. Rub, leave on and rinse.
⚠️ Precautions:
- Never use on surfaces in direct contact with food.
