  • 1 1/2 cups (190 g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup (200 g) sugar
  • 1 cup (240 g) plain yogurt (Greek or regular)
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup (130 g) chocolate chips

🥣 Instructions

1. Prepare the pan

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease and flour an 8-inch (20 cm) cake pan or line it with parchment paper.

2. Mix the wet ingredients

In a large bowl, whisk together:

  • Eggs
  • Sugar
  • Yogurt
  • Oil
  • Vanilla

Whisk until smooth and creamy.

3. Combine dry ingredients

In a separate bowl, mix:

  • Flour
  • Baking powder
  • Baking soda
  • Salt

Add the dry mixture into the wet ingredients and whisk until just combined.
Do not overmix.

4. Add chocolate chips
